Hudson Soft Vol. 3. Hugely underrated little racing game: a little bit like Out Run meets the Dakar rally, it's quite relaxed and, like OutRun, nothing too serious. If it has one flaw it's that the ratios of the 4 manual gears aren't well spaced (there's a big jump in speed between 3rd and 4th gear) but with great controls and nice smooth graphics which do a great job of relaying undulations in the road, it constantly amazes us how this game isn't more popular. Like most PC Engine racing games, it looks great on the GT, but unlike many, it looks great on the big screen too.
